The LTC3337ACBZ-R7 is a nanopower primary battery State of Health (SOH) monitor integrated circuit (IC) designed by Analog Devices, featuring a built-in precision coulomb counter.

  • Ultra-Low Power Consumption: Operates with a quiescent current of only 100nA, minimizing power consumption and maximizing the operating time of primary batteries in low-power applications.
  • Precision Coulomb Counter: Equipped with a patented infinite dynamic range coulomb counter that accurately tallies all accumulated battery discharge and stores the data in internal registers accessible via the I²C interface.
  • Comprehensive SOH Monitoring: Integrates monitors for battery voltage, battery impedance, and temperature, which are measured and reported to the host system through the I²C interface.
  • Selectable Peak Input Current Limits: Offers 8 selectable peak input current limits (5mA to 100mA) via pin configuration, adapting to a wide range of primary battery inputs.
  • Dual Current Counting Options: Coulomb counting can be performed on either the BAT_IN (primary battery current) or BAT_OUT (load current) pin.
  • Supercapacitor Balancer: Integrates a ±10mA supercapacitor balancer, providing support for applications using a stack of two optional supercapacitors at the output.
  • Programmable Functions: Features a programmable coulomb counter prescaler and a programmable discharge alarm threshold with interrupt output.
  • Wide Input Voltage Range: Supports a battery input voltage range of 1.8V to 5.5V, compatible with various primary battery types.
  • Compact Package: Available in a tiny 16-ball 1.64mm * 1.64mm WLCSP package with an operating temperature range of -40°C to 125°C.
