The LM234Z-6/NOPB is a 3-terminal adjustable current source IC with a wide operating current range of 10,000:1.
Key Features
- Adjustable Current Source: Only requires one external resistor to set the current (no other components needed). Features ±3% initial current accuracy and excellent current regulation. Operates across a wide voltage range of 1V to 40V.
- Floating Current Source: True floating design with no separate power supply connection. Can withstand reverse-applied voltages up to 20V while consuming only microamperes of current. Suitable for AC applications as both rectifier and current source.
- Temperature Sensing: ±3°C initial accuracy as a temperature sensor. Output voltage is directly proportional to absolute temperature (°K). Maintains accuracy in remote-sensing applications with two-wire connection.
